What To Expect
This two-day tour to Ba Be National Park will be an excellent chance to see daily life of Tay people – an ethnic minority of Vietnam – and even join their activities by staying overnight in Bo Lu village. Enjoy a boat-ride trip around Ba Be Lake and have a swim here. We also visit Ba Be forest and Hua Ma Cave before going back to Hanoi.

Day 1: Hanoi – Bac Kan – Ba Be Lake (Lunch, Dinner)
In the morning, our guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby and depart for Bac Kan Province. Have a stop in Thai Nguyen Province to visit Museum of Vietnam Ethnic Minorities Culture before lunch in a local restaurant. Visit Bo Lu village of Tay ethnic group where you will find picturesque stilt houses and colorful working life of local people. In the village, you will be warmly welcomed by a local family. Then we take a three-hour boat trip around Ba Be Lake where you can also jump into for a swim as local kids do. After that, return to the home stay and enjoy a superb dinner with local specialties. At night you will stay with local family at Bo Lu Village.
Day 2: Ba Be – Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
After breakfast, walk to Ba Be forest at close quarters and trek by the slow flowing river, gaze in awe at the dramatic mountains, valleys and natural caves. Not only hear numerous little birds chirping and witness plentiful butterflies fluttering. There are countless numbers of flora and fauna in this forest. On the way, we will visit atmospheric Hua Ma cave which has thousands of stalactites and stalagmites. After forest journey, return to Hanoi and have lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi at approximately 19:00.
Tour ends. Our guide will say good bye and see you again!
